Your Warcraft III username: Pituca
Violator’s Warcraft III username: Solal
Violated Rule(s): no fair play, possible ff abuse
Time of Violation (in-game or replay): during level 20
Additional Information: they sent 14 and we lived, we sent 17 and they barely survived.
We sending 20 and DC happens 30 secs before level start, we pause and decided to sell because Solal told us they would hold 100%, even laughed at us for asking that. I also asked if they were sending 20 cause we rip if they race but they were skipping. Then we decided to sell, but im curious if they really hold that well so i told evan to full send anyway.
They were leaking 9 turtles and 4 kraken i think (even without 1k lumber from dc player) and really small mid. We lost because we sold after what Solal said, if we play 3v4 we win that exact same level. After that none of their said a thing, he insta uploaded it. I confronted them in chat and none of them admitted a thing, some of them even tried to argue…
I’m not sure if he break any rule but I feel very dissapointed in him (and some of the players i’ve played with too), I really liked him before and was really surprised when I read he was a former mod and did this kind of thing. Tbh my main reason behind this brq is so people know what kind of player he is and I didn’t want to start drama in fbg-ltd-chat.
I think at least the replay should be removed. Idc about elo honestly, just don’t want him to get away with it. This is -by far- (and pardon my french) the most bullshit fair-play related thing i’ve seen in my games on FBG. 0 sportmanship. It’s really bad because i’ve never had problem with selling when i think we dead but sadly this makes me reconsider my future decisions.
I think it was our bad on trusting their judgmement that they would survive, we should’ve played that lvl and sell if they survive I guess but I trusted him and didn’t want to get accused of elo bitching or no honor because of wanting to see the outcome. I can uderstand their bad judgmenet thinking they would survive, but uploading it after and remaining silent? That’s something I can’t stand.PD: uploaded replay from both povs so u get both teams chat.

June 19, 2021 at 11:16 am #11218Hi Pituca,
Quetra and I did already review this game before you posted the ban request and I have reached out to Solal informing him about our view upon his decision to upload the game and removed Solal’s ability to upload games in the future. As far as I can see Solal did not break any rules and because of that a ban will not be issued.
Because of this being an extremely black/white case of a replay which shouldn’t have been uploaded, your team were (maybe intentional, maybe not) deceived into selling in a game you would have won, I have reached out to Anders (the webmaster of wc3stats) and requested that the replay will be purged from the stats. This does not mean that we will be reviewing every game where people accuse someone else of bad sportsmanship, as these are often hard to assess what would be the outcome and will be in the grey area, which would potentially lead to unfair moderation. This is an exception because the case is completely black/white.
