1) Ricefire throws on picks.
Supnub firstpicks both undying and SP. Ricefire responds by picking 4 heroes with all magic damage, no hard carry, no physical damage, and no way to kill the tomb. Dumb as hell.
2) Ricefire forces stupid lanes.
Trilane useless zues while ignoring the OD and letting him farm for 25 minutes.
3) Opponent has an extremely strong heal and defense line up. Ricefire decides it’s a good idea to run head first into them and die as a team over and over. When is undying strongest? early game. When does rice want to fight as a team? early game. he literally wants us to suicide into them over and over for the sake of 1-2 towers while their OD is farming top solo.

I can attest to this game having many issues as I was a player in it. It was not Ricefire’s finest moment as captain I agree, but the team comp had potential. As a team we were putting out massive damage after veil, and our strategy was essential to having an ES initation + stuns. Without having an items it cost us multiple times. There were ganks and fights that could have turned around if you had mana regen or blink 5-10 minutes earlier than you did. OD did get beefy, but he is minimized effectiveness with his ult vs 4 intel, it was just his damage that could hurt. So while yes, his draft was poor, it was also hamstrung by an ES who went midas at 20 minutes, with nothing previous. It was an essential role and we had no real chance after they pushed every tower, even though we were able to push with krob ult.
No one is ever stopping people from stepping up to cap, if you have such an issue with ricefire captain I recommend you should captain more, either against him, or in place of him.
