A lot of you already know me from LIHL Season 1+2+3+4+5, aprox. I have played a ton ton of LTD (~4.500 games). And I wish to be given a new chance to show my worthyness.
A lot has happened since ~5 years ago, now I’m running a firm IRL with employes and obviously more grown. I still love the game and wish to play with you guys again.
Hope, to be given a new chance. 🙂
April 5, 2020 at 6:36 am #3586We were informed by multiple veteran members that you were removed from LIHL in the past for maphacking. If this is true, why did you hide that information in your vouch request here ?
April 5, 2020 at 9:46 am #3587Anda, I never hidden it in my request. I’ve seen at least 15-20 people from back then that’s still playing and was pretty sure they would remember me. That’s also why I wrote: “I hope to be given a new chance”.
Back then, ban was 1 year, now it’s ~5-6 years. I served my sense many times more than I was given. 🙂 Growing older makes a person more mature.
I didn’t think writing a wall of text was necessery.
April 5, 2020 at 2:30 pm #3590I’ve decided to share some of my story, since it might help my situation to be given a new fresh start.
I had a depression after dropping out of University, back in ~2012/2013, and was isolated at home gaming all day long. And for for a year, Legion TD was basically my life. I did quite decent or average in season 1+2+3, and I got into helping making decisions for the future of deciding how to improve the league. Diablo_ and I talked about making a rule for the bottom 5 people or X % win loss ratio would be dropped out at the end of each season, this way to get the “worst” players out of the league because we reached 100+ players. And there really was inbetween some bad players.
And since it was my life, and I had a depression, I did play a lot of hours in a row. And something when playing a lot of hours in a row, you play worse after 8 hours than in the first 1-3 hours. So I started dropping in ELO and by end of season 4 or 5 aproxx, I was suddenly one of the bottom 5 with like 871 elo. Ye most people had 900+ back them, and i was aprox nr. 7 or 8 bottom or something, so I was risking being one of the ones punished.
And since it was my life, I didn’t want to risk that, so for the last week of the season I did use maphack because I felt no way out and my head was deranged I was pretty sure other people used it. I know at least 1 guy also back then that used it, and he said he knew some also. I don’t wanna say names, because they could risk their allowance to play then.
At least now 6-7 years after, I’m in a whole different situation. I haven’t had a depression since then. I’ve moved together with my girlfriend in a house, and I own my own company with 12 employes and working hard to grow it to what it is today. I Repair computers for a living and love it. I just want to play sometimes in the evenings or weekends to get the head off work and to challenge my brain. I see no reason to every consider using maphack again and I’m also quite sure for reforged it doesn’t even exist. I didn’t check, but in a 2020 game I’m sure Blizzard made some kind of anti-cheat program.
Also there is no rules that lets say if u reach 750 elo u get kicked out or something like that.
And all it really takes, is to let me play ~20-30 games with you guys, to show my worthyness that I’m good enough to be here and that I’m no danger to the league.April 8, 2020 at 1:06 pm #3661Vouched as trial after the vote pasted and you obsed the requested amount of games as an ex lihl player.
Good luck and enjoy
