Okay so I’m banned for lobby dodge. The following screenshots show that it is not a lobby dodge since the original lobby I signed for was !ended and those players resigned in different games, I simply refused to resign a game with different players. The only justification for this ban is if you wanna ban me for swapping out of a game that never actually started because I was tired (after midnight) and at that point it says more about others than about me.

Picture 1:
– previous lobby eats a !end (5 min rg). A player from that previous lobby (avada) signs the new one

Picture 2:
– I swap out with one of the players from previous game (highest !roll tagged all players from previous).

Picture 3:
– I explain that I swapped out because I wanted to sleep, as u can see its a bit past midnight. I was gonna unsign normally in the next minute-didn’t expect a 5 minute lobby to be !end

Picture 4/5:
– Here our supreme overlord himself proposes a solution. The people that didn’t noshow the previous lobby get to sign and the first signs of the lobby that I signed into sign to fill the remaining players. Note that I was sign 6/8 for that lobby ergo I would be disobedient if I resigned for that lobby.

picture 6:
– Avada asks if he can !end the current game (the game I swapped out of so the game I was banned for dodging) and the leader says “end it y”. This means that the game I swapped out of ate a !end before the actual game started and I had a chance to amend my evil ways.

Picture 7:
– This picture shows the other lobby after resigns. Please note that 1007 and avadakedavra both signed that other lobby when both of them were signed in the lobby I swapped out of. Therefore there is no justification you can make that says we can remake the same lobby I was signed for since 2 of the 8 players are now signed for a different game. (1007 swaps out of that I think but avada doesnt so the point remains the same)

– I am told not to dodge. I explain that according to our rules I am allowed to veto a swap but if that denies a game from starting I am also obligated to sit out. according to the swap rule on ENT wiki (http://wiki.entgaming.net/index.php?title=EntGaming:LIHLGuide)

“All games must !votebalanced, unless it is a !challenge game, or all players agree to a different set-up. If a player disagrees with an observer to be swapped in, and that obs has earned his spot (!roll, given by someone else, etc.), then the refusing player shall step aside.”

Anyways so I am suddenly obligated to sign a lobby with different players or else it considered a dodge? That’s actually ridiculous. I realise the whole situation was tk with 2 lobbies getting shuffled together because of a random !end in lobby but that doesn’t mean rules can go fuck off out the window and you can smoke whoever makes you wait a bit longer to play a different game. In this specific case what you are telling me is “I am not allowed to dodge elektro-” and to that I say fuck that if I dont wanna play with someone I am not obligated to sign their lobbies. Once I am signed I must play but I am never forced to sign a lobby with different players.

If I am misunderstanding some unwritten rule where I am indeed forced to sign lobbies that aren’t even remakes then please extend the ban indefinitely. Since that is clearly not the case I can only fathom this ban comes from either a lack of proper checking or an angry response to my swapping out of a game that never actually started. If its the former of those shit happens and if its the latter that makes no sense to me. Ban durations are based on intent and impact. My intent was to go to bed, the impact was 0 since that game got a !end before even starting.

Just wanna end by saying the ban duration is no issue for me, its the fact the ban was applied in a situation where a ban isnt warranted. I think that these incorrect bans are extremely harmful for players who don’t understand the rules/situations as well or who are less fluent in English. As you might remember my vendeta unban on ent. I was happy enough to cop it from more or less everyone when I felt a ban was not deserved. To the mods (anda) was a full tk mess so I dont blame u for this (despite the sarcasm above-was just having some fun) definitely easy to misunderstand or to forget about the swapping rule since its not currently on the FBG rule page.

That was the first lobby – while they were hosting this game – another game ends, and the queue looked like this:

And this is where the issue begins … elektro seems to have showed up late – since he was warned for noshow, and im guessing nicolaisen also had issues showing up, as he joined lobby but game closed -> After 5 mins, and people missing, achilles wrongfully !ended the lobby – causing avada to !sign, and snipe an entire lobby due to it.

It was suggested by the moderation that the 4 people who showed up on time re-sign for a lobby, and then the first 4 from queue fill in to complete the lobby (meaning from the queue, it would be occupy, eld3r, moa and al6x – 1007, epic and anda would join for a 2nd lobby).

So following this logic, and what was suggested, the lobby would be the 4 guys from 1st lobby who showed up (and got sniped) + the first 4 from queue, which woulnd’t include you, giving you a possibility to unsign after and go sleep, as intended (considering 2nd lobby dind’t really start that fast either).

However, and i want to make this clear, your rule logic here doens’t really apply here: the veto swap makes no sense, as no1 was swapped in and the lobby was autobalanced + while we will unban you, we will keep this situation in mind (as we do believe you definitely attempted to dodge certain people in lobby), and could easily link you this (as you brought up some ENT rules):

It goes without saying that a minimum of manners and fair play is to be expected in a league. Therefore, any behavior that is deemed to be ‘out of line’ with LIHL’s values can be acted upon by league moderators.

Either way, appeal approved.
