FBG LTD 2022 March Tournament

Hey everyone, it is my pleasure to announce First Blood Gaming’s first LTD tournament of 2022. With the latest release of the DWARF race, we believe it is time we welcome these new towers with a tournament.

Rules: We will follow LIHL rules (which can be found at https://firstbloodgaming.com/lihl-guide/ Streaming is accepted and encouraged, however all LIVE streams (Twitch, youtube etc.) must have a minimum 3 minute delay. The only exception to this rule will be teams streaming live on discord. OBS CANNOT STREAM GAMES.

The tournament will begin at 1500 CET. Teams are responsible for making sure they have enough time to play at MINIMUM all games of the group stage on day 1 (This could take up to 5 hours). Games will be played in a continuous fashion as we start the day, and teams will have a maximum 15 minute break between games before they must join the next. The only exception is if teams need to wait for their opponents to finish a match. If your team is not able to play their game within the allotted time frame or field enough players you will automatically forfeit the match and receive the LOSS.
Who can play: Anyone and everyone that is a current FBG member (whether its dota or LTD).
Where: The tournament bracketing itself will be organised through http://www.challonge.com, all questions and discussions will take place in the appropriate channels on the FBG discord, including finding teams.
When: 5 – 6 March. Tourney will begin at 1500 CET on 5th March. Timings for 6 March TBD once day 1 matches conclude.

What: Tournament style will ultimately depend on # of teams registered, but we are hoping to have a world cup style tournament with an initial group stage followed by double elimination 2nd stage. Additionally, there will be a losers bracket following the end of the group stage with in-game prizes as well! We will be playing on the latest map (3.46A).
Prizes: Cash prize to include up to $600; as well as ingame prizes including lane skins and ingame name colours/titles!!!

1st place – $400
2nd place – $160
3rd place – $40

REGISTRATION AND SIGNUP: There will be a $20USD fee, per team, to sign up for this tournament. Fees can be donated directly VIA FBG website at the following link. Team captains are responsible for ensuring their fee is paid prior to the deadline.
