your roll: ent, novice, violet, copter, grizz and GoD
Your team had blaster/necro, aqua with decent adds and zombie dp. Keeping this roll on free is not ideal. You don’t really have a 6 issue (your team can cover) and with zombie and blaster lane u need yolo more than u need a grizz roll with no adds. Drop and roll was the better call here.
You start grizz novice lv 1, with 2/0. You send wars and get small goal but stay 2/0. With a shitty roll, sending wars u should be pushing. at the very least, start the push and cancel if no/not enough KG since ur only a bit short for wisp + 110g crusader. Considering you have the worst roll in your team, its expected that you risk and go for push.
Enemy sends 2, your team king leaks but clears fairly well. You stay 3/0 here, and add copter. Not terrible, but u could probably have pushed 4/0 and held 3 with a violet add. Copter is better 5, but since ur going for a greymane, u should aim for least value needed. Indeed on lv 5 you are stuck 5/1 with mediocre roll (not ideal yolo)
Enemy sends 5 after leak on 4 and u guys leak small to king with blaster mid and stomp. You decide here to go semi for 7 with 6/1 and add a grizzly for lv 6. Considering blue has zombie with DP, i think you should have deferred to him for OB since he has by far the better roll.
East gets thorn and skips 7, lucky for you since you had a very weak hold here.
You rr here for free into aqua necro druid – very lucky and perhaps a bit late I would have rr’d soon as u dropped that 2nd grizzly.
unlucky focus for you on 10 leaking 3 low hp boss to mid but enemy team does even worse and dies.
Overall this replay i give a 3/10. You played quite selfishly here with a bad roll, lucky RR on 8 put u back in the game, but had u not rr’d into a top 5 anti 10 unit after lv 7, ur semi and ob for lv 7 could have costed ur team hugely as u took feed before having towers to hold 10. Considering you had 2 teammates (blaster/necro, zombie/dp) that could have done it as well, this game was poorly played despite the win.
I lost the writeup for the NS game, but it was an OP roll that u played decently.
However, playing OP rolls well is not enough for LIHL. Being able to play bad rolls efficiently is just as important.
For now I will deny your trial. You should focus on playing your roll according to the teams needs. Optimizing your push with shitty rolls as well (especially following enemy team sends).
