Welcome to the first FBG hosted LTD Tournament!
Here you can find all the information that you need. Please familiarize yourself with everything so that we can have a smooth tournament!
Date of the tournament: Saturday, 29.02.2020, 4 pm (timezone GMT+1)
(depending on the actual mode being played, the time might be adjusted, please be aware!!!)Useful Links:
Tournament Standings: https://challonge.com/de/gvfk9hcx
Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/fAAG43c
Sign up thread: LTD Tournament #1 – Sign Up
Rules: LTD Tournament #1 – RulesMap to be played: Legion TD Mega 3.44e (download “legion_td_3.44e.w3x” here)
Mode: -phgmcbnm (default mode if you do not type anything!)Communication:
Most of the communication during the tournament will happen on FBG’s Discord server(click here to join)! We have separate Tournament channels, only visible to participants. Once you joined the FBG Discord server, send a message to Hyo, Anda, RedRum or me to give you access to the tournament channels.
We will communicate infos, news, schedules etc here. Discord is mandatory for each team’s captain and co-captain! They should also be in the channels 15 minutes before the tournament starts!
Hosting games etc will also be coordinated by the (co-)captains via Discord!Hosting:
The team that is listed first int he challonge match-up will host the game. Please coordinate within your team who does it, ultimately the (co-)captain is responsible for this to happen!
You can download the proper map from above.
Please host all games on the EU Realm!
The gamename will be “Tour” + the number of the match in challonge (tiny number in front), e.g. Tour3, Tour 8 etc. There are no observers allowed in the games, with the exception of tournament organization, FBG moderators and streamers who are approved by the tournament organization (please approach us if you would like to stream the tournament!).
The (co-)captain of the winning team will have to report the result in the discord channel! and upload the replay in the proper channel, too!
Rules in game:
We will use the LTD inhouse league rules!
Please refer to: LTD Tournament #1 – RulesPunishments for breaking the rules will be looked at case-by-case. Auto-loss, disqualification or replaying the game are among the possibilities. Serious offenses will also have consequences outside of the tournament (map hacking, ghosting, etc).
Draw & Leave/Disconnect:
Due to time-constraints and lacking the ability to discriminate accidental drops from disconnects on purpose, there will be no draw for games! If a player drops in an early level and the opponent team agrees to rehost, that is fine but not mandatory!
If however, the map or Bnet crashes and all players drop, the game has to be replayed.Tournament form:
This might change, depending on the number of teams that are signing up (so please do not sign up last moment only).
We plan on playing a double elimination mode. Each Match will be a best of three games. The final will be a best of five! If however the number of teams won’t allow for a proper double eliminations, we might consider a small group stage followed by single elimination, or only a single elimination in the worst case.
Please follow this topic and our Discord for updates on this and also feel free to give us input on the tournament mode you would prefer!Prizes:
Honor & Glory!
Isn’t that nice? On top of that, FBG promised to award the winners with custom Discord ranks. At the moment, there is no cash prize anticipated, since there is also no buy-in. If however anyone would like to donate some prize money, we would be happy to award it as a cash prize!Last notes:
Lastly, i would just like to ask you all to be on time for your games and have fun!
This will be the first FBG hosted LTD tournament but it is open to everyone! We are all excited and hope you enjoy the tournament. Thanks for participating!-

February 21, 2020 at 8:06 pm #2904UPDATE:
I will put a sign-up deadline into place so that I can make a schedule and define the definite tournament format.
All teams have to be signed up until Friday, 28.02. 6pm GMT+1 (Berlin Time Zone)!February 27, 2020 at 2:25 pm #2969Update on the rules:
We will go full LIHL rules, which means that even though it is possible, it is forbidden to send more than 1 demon, 1 infernal, 1 kraken and/or 1 behemoth on level 15 per player!
It is a bug that this is possible and affects gameplay a lot. For better games, this rule was put into place until the map is actually fixed. This rule therefore is also active in the tournament!February 27, 2020 at 2:25 pm #2970Update on the rules:
