from the few games i’ve had with him i’d say he’s a decent and mannered teamplayer, but lacks a bit of communication when he is unsure what to build or when to push. saw some questionable builds and placements too, so imo not yet ready for lihl at the moment.

Yeah, I have seen other vouched players do similar fails on lvl 1, solo wyvern also. It’s a big missplay, no need to argue about it, but a single mistake like that doesn’t warrant an unvouch / deny vouch.
And for the turr game: as I said, it depends on the adds. With spitter it obviously makes sense to push for lvl 3, I agree 100%. Still, this isn’t such a big tk as you think. Going for pure turr does have some upside as it allows you to hold levels 5/6/8 a bit more efficiently than a mix with spitter.
All in all I just wanted to point out that these two examples are in my opionion no reasons to deny a vouch. Sure, if missplays happens in every single game that’s a different story.
Nice guy but far too many mistakes last few days.
– solo wyv 1 (leaks no send, enemy warr on 1 anyway so didn’t matter so much, but bad knowledge)
– big ob with turrets for no reason (furb on 2, 3 turrets + small add) 5 turrets for 3 vs no send.. 500+ value, still 2/0 after going mid 2 vs the furb.
Feel the above should be mandatory/standard/easy play, sorry !nosupportIf underbuilding level 1 is reason for no vouch, then half of lihl wouldn’t be vouched. Have seen similar lvl 1 fails many times, including myself. If mistakes like that happen often with one player then sure, it’s bad. But making this mistake once is no big deal imo.
And for the turr build: it really depends on the adds. If you have nothing good to mix with turr (other range units / aoe) it is better to get the 5 turrs for 3 and push max after. That way you get a bigger push for lvl 5 and less dead value after, which is especially important if you want to hold level 8 with 7/3. It’s certainly no huge tk missplay.
can confirm what most people said here: good teamplayer & communicator, asks actively for advice. building skills are improveable, but that will come eventually. attitude is more important to look for in trials imo, and in that regard he passes the bar easily.

Nowhere near lihl level at the moment, at least from my experience. Maybe he wasn’t focused or smth, but i saw plenty of mistakes you don’t even see in 1200+.

ez support, nice and calm dude
not ready skillwise imo
Had a few games with him, here’s my limited impression so far:
Didn’t see any major TK but still skill seems not to be on average Lihl level yet (some suboptimal ideas on builds imo). However, he asks for advice a lot and seems pretty eager to improve. Also his communication in general was really active, big plus for me.
like most greeks in here gotta handle him with care 😀 skillwise i would support!
seconding what nik said 🙂

skillwise most of the games i had with him were okay, even though i also saw a bunch of questionable choices that made me scratch my had a little bit.
what bothers me more at this point is his attitude. whenever someone tries giving him advice he snaps back like he is a legend of ltd that needs no tipps from no one, even to the point of outright flaming. in my opinion this is a no-go for a trial candidate, especially one with a history like him. i dont wan’t to imagine what he will be like once he is fully accepted.
so far !nosupport
here are some thoughts on the lod replay, putting aside the fact that the other players seemed to be pretty clueless:
-you had a great roll for both yolo and hold.
-in most cases it is better to go for the hard yolo, unless you desperately need a hold on 7 or you want to cash in on a freehold (freehold makes perfect sense if you are sure the enemy team wont send 7, for instance cause you scouted their king).
-in general fast push makes you fatter in the long run (lvl 10+) and gives your team more options because you have more wood to send and up king. you can almost never go wrong with a good yolo build, whereas fail hold build can be huge tk. and even a hold build that works well is often suboptimal to good yolo.
-in this game i wouldve clearly gone for the push since you had immola, your teammates had hold rolls and stayed low, and because enemy team didnt send 5.
-ideal push build imo: lod+headhunter+alpha male for lvl 5 (600 value), up another alpha for 6 (740 value is pretty ob for lod on lvl 6, but in your case it would make sense, since you needed some ob on 6 anyway with your adds and 2 alpha would give you a few more kills on 7)
-save some gold on 7 to get hades or 2nd lod for 8. hades is ideal because it sets up a perfect anti 10 build with hades + alphas + soul of villain.so my advice would be to just try to maximize your push to the limit every single game, even if you are tempted to go for the more comfortable hold build. sure it will fail sometimes, but that way you will learn way more and improve your game much faster. the key to becoming a strong ltd player is to know the minimum value needed to hold a level with any given set of towers.
