Here we go again.
Swing. You start the game by saying “InQ call, i got teal and purp on mute”. Inq replies saying fly is Captain but he will relay(Messages etc?). You never once refuted this statement by Inq, and no one else did either. Thus effectively making fly captain.
You can’t expect to make someone captain just because you want to mute the 2 other players and don’t wanna call yourself. By saying, “hey you, cpt cause I’ve got the other 2 muted” you’re effectively ruining the possible team dynamic, and possible team discussion on calls.
Fly can see the message from you as he doesn’t have you muted. He proceeds to assume the captain Role. He sends war at 21sec to start of lvl 1 and instantly pings send box. Chandalar notices this and sends right after. Everyone has 2 wars sent with 4seconds left before round start, including you. Leads to 56king leak.
Nothing was said by you after the this war send.
Fly calls 3 re send at end of 1 in chat. Come 3, he sends, proceeds to spam ping as well and people still send after income although they had lumber for bo before income.
Leads to 62 King leak. Game is effectively over at this point.So regarding the initial Ban request. Denied. This just seems like a butt-hurt ban request in order for some sort of revenge after yesterdays debacle.

It’s an entirely different case. We as admins handle each case differently, we assess the replay and evidence that wax provided and we make what we believe to be the farest judgement, we even ask for other admins’ opinions when the case is unclear. Alan did just that in that case. We also spoke about this in fbg chat when it occurred.
Secondly, Regarding the other comment you made here Swing. “Feels like rules change around lihl’s all the day but it is what it is” What is this supposed to mean even. I’d really like for you to give me examples, other than this one event with fly. Fly just got his lihl trial, and I mean he hasn’t changed whatsoever or how rules are handled hasn’t changed. But apparently in your eyes the fact that he got lihl trial is the reason why we don’t do anything to him when ban requests and such are so questionable? Must be why we never ban Virus. • Regarding the dodge. I feel you did attempt to dodge, cause you were trying to duo someone who wasn’t even signed “Aemtelddtel”. However you were in the process of cancelling your duo attempt to duo Aem, that’s when someone signed and lobby started and you asked for swap.

• At this point you were accused for dodge etc, however from what I could see from chat, and Redindian’s account, you did join the lobby in order to play and avoid the dodge, but you were swapped out and kicked from the lobby.

You can’t be second last person to sign and then 1min later when lobby gets formed ask for a swap. You have to acknowledge this fact.
Flame ban stays and total ban time will be adjusted for time served as well.Processed
I feel the captain rule is fine. Many times it has worked and ppl have done the right thing. But sometimes it’s abused, and people become delusional. Just need to set an example that it should be just and not be abused.
Now many games are 50/50, where both teams feel they win if certain conditions are met and that is understandable. However other cases it’s just a situation where people deny freelo wins cause of selfish delusional reasons. Need to set an example of these situations so people uphold integrity.
This was a pretty sure win imo.
According to what they said in Discord afterwards, they didn’t even plan 14 send, so no bonus incoime or whatever, they just prayed they hold and send 15+.
ALso, the reason they gave afterward were pretty vague. Never was it, “we all anti 14, we can live if good focus etc” and such, but just we don’t sell, byebye.I feel this was pretty much a don’t wanna lose elo, cause maybe my team mate tk’d me or calls didn’t go as planned so don’t lose, let’s no show. Flavas remarks in game at end when it was paused was also evident of this excuse.
Fuck, ended with last things I’ll say but forgot to add something. Even after the swap so people could Jihad, no one veto’d the Jihad/swap and everyone accepted the Tin v Rum Jihad.

You’ve literally wasted more of your own and other peoples time writing up this Chromosome filled ban request. Maybe if you write a few more replies, you’ll lose enough to be a normal person.Last Things I’ll say, up to mods.
Just some background on the situation.
Start of season all lobbies are challenge/jihad etc. We got Lobby and when I checked teams I saw people were going on about x jihad y etc. Eventually I joined lobby and saw all of west were still on obs spots etc and staying there. I went back to discord and saw People were still talking about Jihad etc, and then Tin offered to Jihad anyone if he got swapped in. So I just offered my position; “swap me then with tin” so that there could be Jihad and the game could be played without wasting more time. Tin got swapped in and he and Rum had a Jihad.
He dc’d early which led to a remake, and then I just got swapped backed in eventually and we just ended up playing given teams as Challenge. Shows that it wasn’t a dodge and I did it so people could get their Jihad.
All of this, from lobby being formed to Tin and Rum finishing their draft was around 7 minutes. So the lobby wasn’t even delayed that much by the swap. So no time was wasted.tl:dr
I merely offered Tin my swap so people could just get their Jihad. I even swapped back in when Tin dc’d and it was remake.Just my perspective on the whole situation.
Agree Elder is not the only one at fault.
There are plenty of people that need to pull their heads out of their own asses and own up their own build mistakes(Example: free leaks that are game breaking, or trash OB that fails to hold). If Elder is on the team, he would get heated, cant blame the guy. But I’ve seen many times where the players who make these mistakes will not admit fault and further escalate the tension then Elder is seen to be the only bad guy here which is not true.
I’ve seen Elder admit to sub-optimal play before, unlike some others who always put blame on other factors to justify their decisions.
Basically what GP said sums up my thoughts exactly.
Firstly, if you look into The applications of the 2 mods that were recently added, Monkey and Wikarn, The requests provide good information on why they can be good mods, and what they can bring to the mod team and help the community and are taken seriously. Read Virus’ application, and it reads like a joke and just not serious at all. I feel this shows Virus’ immaturity. Secondly I agree with the others when they mention virus not being able to be unbiased in certain regards.
Secondly I feel that it will be a repeat of what happened when Virus was on his trial He failed his previous Trial because of skill and Behavior, he went, got better skill-wise and started behaving better. During his trial period, he carried himself well in regards to Behavior etc. Then, a few days after passing his trial, the toxicity returned, cause he no longer had to hold it back for the Trial Period. Same thing now, Virus started being more Friendly and diplomatic recently, but that’s also when we started seeing The mod things being brought up. I feel that this is the exact same occurrence as we experienced during and after his Trial.Lastly, I do realize mods would like Help, and I have nothing against Virus personally, I just feel that this application is not serious and it’s taken as a joke, which shows Virus is not mature enough and lacks the key Fundamentals of a good lihl mod. Maybe he can start of as an FBG mod, as seeing he does play quite a few games there and show that he can Handle ban requests and other Mod work well, and all this while keeping his behavior in check.
But at this point, it’s a hard !No Support from me.

Although he is well known in the community, and gets along with everyone, I am confident that elf would remain unbiased when it comes to making decisions, and would treat everyone as equals. He is someone who would take this role seriously, and fulfil the duties of a mod to their fullest.
His knowledge both in-game and out, would greatly benefit the FBG mods and ease the workload.
I think Elf would make for a great addition to the FBG mod team.But to be honest, what I said above, shouldn’t even matter, I mean just reading the mans application, you should know that he already ticks all the boxes. He has a vast amount of experience with doing something similar(something more important and difficult) already, and his passion for the game speaks for itself. Hell, I stood up applauding the screen after I read this application, all I was missing was an ELF flag to wave about.
In all seriousness though, I support him. Good Luck ELF.
